Tot zijn vijftiende levensjaar speelde hij gitaar in verschillende bandjes, terwijl hij als klein jongetje eigenlijk wilde drummen. Door Metallica en Nirvana raakte hij geïnteresseerd in muziek. Inmiddels is Joram Metekohy (29), beter bekend als Wildstylez, een niet meer weg te denken naam in de hardstylescene. 2011 Dj Mag Top 100 – Wildstylez voted into the Dj Mag Top 100

It’s finally here; the Dj Mag Top 100 list has now been officially released. Music fans from around the globe have been submitting their preferences to Dj Mag for the 2011 top 100 since the end of July. Given the amount of votes in such a short space of time (hundreds of thousands), it makes things clear that it’s growing in both popularity and significance. The hard dance scene seems to be taking over the top 100, certainly at a higher rate than previously. One particular artist has just made his debut on it, amongst some of EDM’s greatest musical minds, regardless of their genre.

Wildstylez has been tearing his way through the hard dance scene for quite some time. After making the decision to launch a fresh and innovative label with his fellow hard dance colleagues, Noisecontrollers, at Qlimax 2010 entitled “Digital:Age”. After much anticipation, the label turned out to be a massive success in many ways! Moving on through to 2011 he continued to produce a huge number of well-received tracks, each with their own incredible atmosphere. Wildstylez has also been travelling the world and spinning highly energetic sets to his fans at some of the world’s biggest festivals and events within the harder styles.

Due to receiving a huge number of votes from the fans mentioned above, all the work he has committed himself to over recent years and the past 12 months in particular has not gone unnoticed. Wildstylez has been placed at number 80 on this year’s Dj Mag Top 100, something that is not to be taken lightly, considering all the great artists he is up against!
